
The DVD contains two nine minute training films aimed at frontline health workers, nurses, young adults and teenagers. The first is on how babies are made and teaches the basics of male and female reproductive biology. It details the menstrual cycle and how keeping track of a woman's period allows her to estimate her most fertile days which can help as a method of planning a pregnancy. The second film is on how to plan a pregnancy and teaches the various methods of contraception available and how these can be used in helping to plan a pregnancy as well as protecting against sexually transmitted infections. The intended use of this DVD is for health workers to familiarise themselves with the films and their educational content and then show them to others. The film is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported licence.
