“Low Vision - High Hopes” demonstrates through observing the daily routines of four persons with low vision (case-studies) that how appropriate use of low vision devices and small environmental modifications like better lighting and contrast can make a significant difference in their quality of life. This video is an effort to demonstrate that the use of low vision services, environmental modifications and low vision devices can help maximize the efficiency of the remaining vision. The purpose is also to encourage and motivate people with low vision to learn to use these services for accomplishing everyday tasks independently and with confidence.
