Q - What are your delivery charges?
Delivery charges on orders through the online shop are based on the weight of your order, the destination, and mode of transportation. They are calculated and added to your order automatically.

EU Economy Courier
Deliveries to the UK and the EU will be subject to VAT of 20% for non-books and 0% for books. If you are an EU (not UK) VAT registered business please contact us with your VAT registration number after ordering and we can process your order without adding VAT.
Please note that VAT on postage is charged at a rate proportional to the value of VATable goods in your order.
For orders of 20kg and over, we obtain specific quotations from our carriers in order to save you money. If you have attempted to checkout an order of 20kg or over, you will be notifed on our checkout summary page and you will be contacted by one of our staff with the details of the delivery quote.
Q - How long do deliveries take?
TALC ships books and accessories to all parts of the world, and unfortunately, we are usually unable to guarantee delivery times.
UK Standard, and Airmail deliveries are generally made within one week. Courier deliveries can be tracked.
Items in stock will usually be shipped within two working days. If any of the items you order are out of stock, we will be in touch to advise you of the delay.
Should you urgently require items from us, please contact TALC and we will do our best to fulfil your requirement.
Q - Why are there restrictions on some books?
Several book publishers allow sales of their titles to developing countries at a lower price than those products would cost to purchase in the developed world. We require that customers disclose the location these products are to be used in as part of our agreement with the publishers.
Q - What is the difference between the different video formats?
NTSC is primarily used in North America, Japan, South Korea, Philippines and parts of South America
PAL is used in most of Europe, much of Africa, Australasia, parts of South America and in much of Asia
SECAM is used in France, and French colonies, and parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa.
