A voice from the grass roots on rural health and development. When books are written about projects in community health, they rarely come from the grass roots health workers, the people who have to turn ideas and goals into practice, who confront the day-to-day difficulties, and who learn a great deal about how to work with and motivate community groups. This book is an attempt to transmit some of the insights and understanding of grass roots community health workers.
