Book produced by two Dutch patrolmen who toured Tanzania to check on conditions of vehicles a Dutch NGO had donated to various hospitals. They found a shortage of technical knowledge and skills amongst the drivers and decided to produce this manual to help train them in better driving practices and how to look after their vehicles. The authors say that one of the benefits of this book is to give the vehicles a better and a longer life with subsequent economic benefits.
