This handbook is No. 3 in the CALLED TO CARE toolkit. Subtitled: A guide to family life in the age of AIDS, it aims to help church congregations and groups talk about sex as a good gift from God, not just as a means of transmitting HIV, and enable discussions on family life and sex in the context of the global AIDS epidemic. It is intended for use by pastors, deacons and religious sisters, as well as catechists, lay preachers, leaders of Christian men's and women's organisations, and other lay church leaders. The workshop section contains role plays, games, quizzes, discussions, Bible studies and other participatory exercises. Note: The CALLED TO CARE toolkit consists of practical, action-oriented workbooks on various aspects of HIV/AIDS, designed mainly for use by churches and community groups in sub-Saharan Africa but applicable elsewhere as well.
