Chairman

Gerald Dingley joined TALC in 1997 as a Business Advisor after 30 years of experience of international marketing and general management and became Chairman in 1998.

Treasurer

Peter Thring was appointed Honorary Treasurer of TALC in 1993, after retirement from over thirty years of partnership in a major international firm of Chartered Accountants. He has assisted a variety of small charities, involved with people with learning difficulties, the environment and legal education, in addition to TALC.

Trustees

Dr. William Cutting

William Cutting is a paediatrician who worked in a Christian hospital in India 1961-1973. He returned to join the staff at the London School of Tropical Medicine and then became Reader in International Child Health at the University of Edinburgh.

He has been a consultant for WHO, UNICEF and the World Bank. He is an honorary medical advisor to TALC.

Dr. Michael Dobson

Mike Dobson is an anaesthetist in Oxford with experience in the developing world. He is author of Anaesthesia at the District Hospital; and co-author of "How to Teach". He runs anaesthesia and trauma management courses in the developing world and in his spare time gives anaesthetics.

General Manager

Hilary Heine joined TALC in 2006 having worked in data management and general management in various parts of the NHS for 13 years. She worked in Nigeria for two years and has a qualification in Development Studies.
